Modern Fireplace Mantels for Massive Brick House Makeover
We are delighted that our fireplace mantels have been chosen for a renovation project in a massive brick home in Arkansas. The interior designers selected two of our fireplace surrounds for the transformation: the Chateau for the living room and the Bowen for the main bedroom.
In the living room, the DreamCast Chateau mantel is crafted in a Cloud White color with a SmoothCast finish, perfectly complementing the room’s aesthetics. Meanwhile, the Bowen mantel in the main bedroom features a Moonlight color with an Old World finish, adding timeless charm to the space.
Living Room
Modern and Luxurious
The designers have done an excellent job brightening the entire house with a crisp white palette and eliminating awkward angles and corners. In the living room, they removed the brick arch and added drywall to create a cleaner look, widening the entrance to the space. After the transformation, the living room—and the house as a whole—feels significantly larger, boasting clean, modern lines.

The brick fireplace in the corner was bulky and dated.

Cloud White Smooth Chateau surround replaced the old fireplace and blend seamlessly with the walls.
MAIN BEDROOM

Before
Like the rest of the house, the bedroom felt overcrowded. The combination of the multi-height ceiling, extravagant crown molding, and ornate fireplace contributed to a sense of chaos. The goal for this room was to make it simpler and cozier.
After
Removing the awkward angles improves flow and privacy. Eliminating the outside access and lowering the ceiling help to create a clean line. Next, the crown molding and the old fireplace has been upgraded into DreamCast Bowen fireplace surround and marble hearth, giving it a more modern touch.
